Finders FAQ

  • Reporting a lost item is an act of good citizen, it shows your appartenance to your community and will probably enhance your Karma. FindR aims to reward all Finders. This is why a part of our revenue is dedicated to FindR’s Lottery. Our Lottery is designed to incentive people to report all items which may be found.

  • Scan the QR code marked on the item you may found, register and declare your discovery. Either the item Owner and/or FindR could then get in touch with you.

  • Our Lottery is designed to incentive Finders to report items they may found and get rewards in vouchers (Digital coupon codes) - Gift Cards.

Bigger part of our Rewards are going from $50 to $500. Upper part of our Rewards are going from $500 to $5,000. TOP part of our Rewards are fixed at $5,000. Generated bi-annually, drawn by FindR’s Lottery algorithm they are supervised by a sworn bailiff and sent via email as digital “voucher” coupon-codes compatible with most digital stores. Half of the amount is to be donated to a cause, to a NGO partnering with FindR.

Last but not least, at Recovery Process termination, Finders will be proposed to figure in FindR’s Wall of Fame and tell their stories. FindR’s wall of fame is a blog relating all Finders happy stories.

NFTs FAQ

  • FindR collaborates with 10 unique artists from around the world to introduce the "First NFT Stickers." These artists come from diverse backgrounds, specializing in various artistic disciplines such as illustration, typography, fine art, graffiti art, and photography. Discover limited edition stickers which are coupled with their respective NFT digital versions. Each sticker is unique, having a QR code that can be used to mint a free NFT on the Ethereum blockchain.

How it works: Diverse Artists: FindR collaborates with 10 worldwide artists, offering a range of art forms. Limited Edition Stickers: Each sticker is a piece of art, available in limited editions of 1,000 stickers and 100 artist's proofs.

Unique QR Code: Every sticker has a unique QR code.

Minting Process: Scan the QR code to start the minting process. This transforms your physical sticker into a digital NFT on the Ethereum blockchain.

Free NFT, Pay Gas: The minting process is free, but you cover the blockchain's gas fees.

Confirmation & Safety: After minting, you'll receive an email confirmation. Ensure you trust only official FindR communications and mint only on the provided platform. This system ensures that each sticker you have is not just a physical piece but also has its unique digital identity in the form of an NFT on the Ethereum blockchain. It's an innovative way to combine physical art with the world of digital assets.

  • NFT stands for "Non-Fungible Token." It represents ownership or proof of authenticity of a unique item or piece of content on the blockchain, which is a decentralized digital ledger.

Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum which are fungible and can be exchanged on a one-for-one basis, NFTs are unique. Think of them as collectible digital art certificates.

  • Owning an NFT means you have a digital certificate of ownership stored on the blockchain. This proves your ownership and ensures the digital art's authenticity.

  • When you scan the QR code on a FindR sticker, you're taken through a process to create its digital twin in the form of an NFT.

This NFT represents your particular sticker in the digital world and proves its authenticity and origin.

  • After minting the NFT by scanning the QR code, it's stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

You can access and view your NFT through digital wallets or platforms that support Ethereum-based NFTs. Examples include MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or OpenSea.

Remember to keep your wallet's private key and passphrase safe. Losing them means losing access to your NFT!

  • NFTs can be sold or traded on various online marketplaces that support them, like OpenSea, Rarible, or Foundation. Their value can go up or down based on demand, rarity, and other factors.

  • Always ensure you're on the correct platform or website when dealing with NFTs to avoid scams. Trust only official communications from FindR and avoid sharing your wallet's private key with anyone.
